The BLUENOSE docks at the Old Fish Market in Hamburg. News quickly spreads that her captain is about to sign on. Silver has entrusted Zorbas, one of the best, with this task, because hardly anyone knows the harbor district better than he does. His connections reach into every nook and cranny and so our mice have come together through a variety of stories and paths. In Mercanta, for example, Zorbas the Cat has found a navigator who knows the old travel songs, which are said to surpass any map and nautical mile in terms of experience and accuracy. Captain Silver has heard about it and is very curious to find out what is true about this sailor's yarn.
Sailing a schooner is a lot of work and requires special skill with the rigging. Capt. Silver appreciates the challenge of awakening old skills in the mice and creating a community she can rely on in a very short space of time.
Everyone has arrived on time and the captain goes over what they have learned in the last few days. What a beautiful day to set off on a wonderful adventure on this legendary schooner! Many of the mice are pretty excited. Probably all of them. Dreams are about to come true.

Captain Silver likes to travel at night. She loves to be with the moon and the stars and with as little going on deck as possible.

BLUENOSE reaches the new home at dawn. The captain will retire to her bunk after the long journey, while the mice gradually go ashore into a sea of pumpkins and young olive trees. So beautiful!!
